What is in AUMSearch

Public investment records, organized around the questions they answer.

Each family retains its own meaning, identifiers, dates, and source documents. Connections make the data easier to research without turning different disclosures into the same thing.

Compare across time

Turn filing history into trends, changes, and patterns.

A row becomes more useful when you can place it beside the same entity, field, or security from another source-dated period. AUMSearch keeps the comparison grounded in what was actually reported.

Reported changes describe differences between public snapshots. They can surface useful patterns, but they do not by themselves prove that a trade occurred.

History and freshness

Freshness is visible. History stays intact.

The newest record is only useful when its timing is clear. AUMSearch publishes the latest validated coverage date, preserves prior records where coverage is validated, and keeps different kinds of dates separate.

Latest validated snapshot

Published coverage is date-stamped rather than presented as permanently “live.” Each family follows its source’s publication cadence and appears in the coverage view only after validation.

Historical context

Prior records are not overwritten.

Filings, amendments, withdrawals, report periods, and identifier observations remain available where historical coverage has passed validation.

Date semantics

Reported, filed, effective, and processed are different.

Keeping those dates separate prevents an old reporting period from looking current simply because its filing or processing date is newer.
