What readers find in IAPD
IAPD supports name and identifier searches for adviser firms and individuals. Depending on the record, users can inspect registration information, current Form ADV filings, brochures, relationship summaries, employment information, and disclosure events.
- Firm and representative identity
- Registration status and jurisdictions
- Current public Form ADV documents
- CRD-linked records
- Public disclosure information
02
IAPD is not the filing system
IARD is the electronic filing depository used by advisers and regulators. IAPD is the public disclosure interface. AUMSearch should cite IAPD as the public record while preserving the underlying form, filing date, and native identifier.
03
Interpretation limits
Registration is not a regulator’s endorsement of an adviser. A disclosure event is a prompt to inspect the underlying details, not a complete severity score. Public records can also change when firms amend their filings or registration status.
